Pyszka plans to rent 10 units for $1,330 a month total whereas normal citation booklet refills cost anywhere from $500 to $1,000 and add up much quicker.

Dr Sameer Moopan, chairman and managing director, Wellkins Medical Centre recently noted “We are committed to our environmental responsibility and therefore have decided against the use of paper and the facility will be completely paperless in all the processes.”

The UAE has recently announced a new paperless tax refund program for tourists visiting the country, eliminating the need to keep and track receipts. Under the initiative, registered retail merchant locations in the Emirates will generate electronic invoices that will allow visitors to claim VAT refunds. The system is integrated for purchases at a variety of hotels, shopping centers, malls, and other retail outlets. Government officials estimate that more than 3.5 million traditional paper invoices will go digital, saving merchants up to five minutes per customer that would have been used printing receipts with the 100% paperless process saving over 16,800 trees per year.
